My mom gets laid off… In need of positive energy and creativity…

Well, a personal bomb was dropped early today. My mother came to me with the sudden news that the Luby’s Cafeteria on Alameda shut down for good. There was no warning of any kind. I never do get corporate secrecy. It’s lame and disrespectful. My mother was starting her 15th year with Luby’s. And, that’s not to mention she was to start her vacation today. Loyalty and hard work don’t get much consideration these days. Society seems to be taking an ugly turn.
