If I ever had to ask a favor…

I truly wish I had some good news. And, this is one of the last things I want to post on here.

Recently, one of my best friends’ mother passed away suddenly. My friend’s name is Ramiro Benavides. Maybe some of you know him, maybe some of you don’t. He’s always been the quiet type. We went to W.B. Ray High School from 1992-1996. He is now developing a career in Las Vegas as a music teacher. I’ve known this guy since junior high. He’s a brother from a different mother as far as I’m concerned.

When I got the news that his mother passed away, I felt a numbness I hadn’t felt in a long time. I recently saw her, too.

But, this isn’t about me. The big favor I have to ask is that with this sudden passing some money has to be raised to cover expenses. There is a BBQ benefit tomorrow. Here are the details:
