A “Milli” Fans Can’t Be Wrong

Lil Wayne The results are in and it’s official. Lil Wayne broke 1million in sales in his first week’s release of Tha Carter III. The last time this was done was in 2005 when 50 cent came out with The Massacre .

Now, on to the review. Personally, I love this album. When it comes to Hip Hop I look for style and creativity. When it comes down to those two things, Lil Wayne has the market cornered. Most of all, when I listen to an album, I don’t want to listen to someone making a living. I want to be taken away. I want to jam and have fun. And, I jam to every song on this album. Who else can do a song like “Phone Home.” Then, you have a modern day classic with “Mr. Carter” that features Jay Z.

I know there’s a lot of haters out there. And, rightfully so. I’m not saying he’s the best lyricist. To me, that’s between Lupe Fiasco and Prolyphic. However, can you deny that Lil Wayne has flavor? He’s a great performer that can work the crowd. He’s probably the best MC alive right now. We can’t deny his work ethic.

In conclusion, Tha Carter III = Instant Classic. Got it?

Don’t be cheap. Get yourself a copy. Keep great music in the mainstream.

Hip Hop ain’t dead. She was just scouting for some talent.

PEACE and ABUNDANCE!!
